Flexeril is a drug that relaxes your muscles and relieves discomfort and pain that is associated with sprains, strains, and other injuries of the muscles.

Flexeril needs to be prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Flexerial should only be taken for short periods of time not exceeding three weeks. The types of injuries that Flexeril treats should be healed and improved in a few weeks and therefore there should be no need to take Flexeril on a long-term basis. Flexeril may cause dry mouth, which can be relieved by chewing on gum, melting ice chips in your mouth, or sucking on candy.

You should take Flexeril as prescribed by your doctor. If you miss a dose try to take it as soon as you remember unless it is within an hour or so of your next scheduled dose. If that is the case simply skip the missed dose and continue with your regular prescribed dose. Never take two doses at once.

Some side effects may be experienced when taking Flexeril. Talk to your doctor about any side effects that you are having. Your doctor will be able to determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Flexeril. Common side effects may include dizziness, dry mouth, and drowsiness. Some rarer side effects of Flexeril include blurred vision, fainting, double vision, anxiety, abnormal heart beat, depression, itching and rash, vomiting, lack of coordination, confusion, constipation, and fluid retention, among others. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of these rare side effects. It is important to remember that older adults may experience problems such as confusion or hallucinations.

It is important to follow your doctor's orders when taking Flexeril and to notify him/her of any changes in your medical condition.

Testimonials:

Since my husband lost his job, medical benefits and most of our 401k, we have found things very difficult. Fortunately you carry the medications prescribed for his high blood pressure, which saves us almost $100 per month. The sooner President Bush gets congressional approval to make generic drugs more readily available, the better for all of us. Bless you.
